The City of Washington Parks & Recreation Charitable Foundation is excited to announce the debut of a new summer concert series, bringing live music and community fun to local residents and visitors.
The series will kick off on Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., featuring live music by Diesel Island. A second concert is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a performance by Friends of Aaron. Both events will take place on the lawn at the Main Stage.
These free, family-friendly concerts invite the community to gather, relax, and enjoy an evening of great entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic-style food and beverages to create their own comfortable and enjoyable experience.
“This new concert series is a wonderful opportunity to bring the community together and create memorable summer evenings,” said City Administrator, Darren Lamb, “We’re proud to offer free events that are accessible to everyone and showcase great live music.”
The summer concert series is part of the Foundation’s efforts to enhance quality of life and support vibrant public spaces throughout Washington.
