The City of Washington will conduct two rounds of leaf pickup for residents this fall, beginning November 9, with the second round starting November 30.
For both rounds, crews will begin on the east side of town and work west until collection is complete.
Residents can help crews collect leaves safely and efficiently by following these guidelines:
Keep leaves at the curb: Rake leaves to the curb, but keep them out of the street, gutters and sidewalks.
Keep leaf piles clear: Move vehicles away from leaf piles so crews can access them safely.
Thank you for helping the City keep our streets clear and making fall leaf collection go smoothly.
