What did you do prior to getting into law enforcement? I worked in construction and at Imo’s.
What training academy did you go to and do you have public safety experience? I graduated from the Missouri’s Sheriff’s Association Training Academy in 2023. Prior to coming to Washington PD, I worked as a Deputy for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and was assigned to their Jail Facility.
When did you join Washington PD and why? 2025 and I wanted to work for the community that I’m a part of.
What is your current role within the department and do you have any specialized assignments? I’m currently assigned to the Patrol Division as a Patrol Officer. I don’t have any specialized training or assignments yet.
Why did you choose law enforcement as a career? I chose law enforcement because I didn’t feel fulfilled by earlier jobs. I wanted a career that would allow me to help others in a meaningful way.
What’s one thing you wish the public knew about law enforcement and one thing you didn’t know until after you started? I wish the public really knew that officers genuinely care about doing their part to make the community a safer place and helping others when they might need it most.
I didn’t realize how supportive of law enforcement this community is until after I started working for the residents of Washington.
