Come out to the pool for movie night. On a portable screen, we will show a family movie under the stars. Bring your inner-tubes and/or rafts along with family and friends.
Kids 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 & older.
DOGGIE DIP

Bring your furry four- legged friend to take a dip at Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex for our annual end of year doggie swim. Dogs can play fetch, wade around in the shallow areas or jump off the diving board for their favorite toy. Owners are responsible for doggy messes and every dog must have at least one handler. All dogs must be on a leash while on deck. Dog and owner must pre-register by Thursday, August 28. Must provide proof of your dog’s Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP and Spay/Neuter records to attend.

This free event is sponsored by Washington Parks & Recreation, Elk’s, VFW, American Legion and Lions. Prizes and trophies will be awarded for smallest, largest, and most fish caught in the following age categories: 6-8 years, 9-11 years, 12-14 years.
Check in begins at 7am-8am. Fishing derby 8am-11am. Awards ceremony following fishing derby. Register by September 4.
Entry forms available at Elk’s Lodge, VFW Hall, or American Legion Hall. Parent or guardian must sign registration form and must be present (one adult per two children).

Bump, set and spike your way to the Washington Auditorium for Co-ed Volleyball. Must be 18 or older to play in the league.
Pre-registration is required. First-come, first serve! Registration and full payment must be made by Thursday, August 28. Teams will referee their own games. 10-week league. $200 per team.
CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE

Gather up all your old stuff and get it ready for the annual City-Wide Garage Sale!! For $10 we will list your address with a few of the items you are selling in a booklet. In the event of rain, it will be left to the discretion of each seller to determine if they want to cancel. This is an inexpensive and great way to advertise your garage sale to a large audience. Registration deadline is Friday, September 19. Booklets will be available for purchase on Tuesday, September 23 – Friday, September 26, at the Parks & Recreation Office (in City Hall), Chamber of Commerce Office or the Library. $10 to be included in the booklet; $4 Cost of Booklet.

This spooktacular event will be a Ladies Night for ages 21 and over. This will be a haunting good time filled with many “bativities”.
