As the leaves begin to fall from the trees, please take a minute to stop them from going into the storm drain. Not only do they clog the storm system and cause unnecessary flooding, but organic debris can pollute our waterways and can cause eutrophication – a reduction in oxygen levels in our rivers and lakes which harms and kills aquatic wildlife.
