Officers responded to the Heritage Hills area for a private property motor vehicle accident.
A suspicious person was reported in the area of 8th St. and Hwy 47.
Officers assisted EMS on a medical call in the 700 block of Fremont.
A suspicious person was reported in the area of Hwy 100 and Bluff Rd.
Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident in the area of Hwy 47 and Steutermann Rd.
Assisted the Franklin County Sheriff's Department in the 900 block of Cherry Ln.
An assault was reported in the 1700 block of A Roy Dr.
A suspicious person was reported in the area of the Farmer's Market.
A leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident was reported in the Washington Crossing Shopping Center.

Night Shift Summary. 01/29/26:
Officers responded to a traffic complaint in the area of Pauwels Dr.
Trespassing was reported in the 800 block of W. 7th St.
Officers responded to an alarm sounding in the area of Washington Corners.
A verbal domestic was reported in the 1800 block of Hwy A.
Assisted MSHP with a driving while intoxicated investigation in the area of Washington Crossing.
Officers responded to an alarm sounding in the area of Phoenix Center Dr.
Officers responded to an alarm sounding in the 400 block of Jefferson St.

Twenty-one teams competed in a series of skill-based challenges using equipment such as backpack blowers, zero-turn mowers, spreaders, skid steers, Gators with trailers, and an electrical construction project.
Representing Washington Missouri Parks were Josh Wargo, Jim Durbin, Tim Beumer, Jason St. Vrain, and Charles Canter Jr. Their hard work, expertise, and teamwork earned them the win!
The team will advance to the statewide competition on Thursday, February 26, in Columbia, Missouri, where they’ll compete against regional winners from the St. Joseph and Springfield regions.
This achievement is a tremendous honor for the Washington Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Washington. Congratulations to our outstanding team! 👏🌳

Alarm on Town and Country Drive. Accidental by employee.
Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at Washington Crossing.
Wallet that was located on Phoenix Center Drive was turned in. Owner was contacted and the wallet was returned.
Stealing reported in Washington Corners. Suspect was identified, contacted, and arrested.

Crews were unable to complete today's revised route. Affected residents are asked to keep their trash and bulk items to the curb so that it can be serviced tomorrow, January 29.
To help keep our hardworking sanitation crew safe, we kindly ask residents to:
❄️Place carts on the cleared portion of the road
❄️Please avoid placing carts in snowbanks or in the yard
This helps our team avoid climbing over snow. If a cart is not safely accessible, service may be skipped. Thank you so much for your patience and for helping keep everyone safe—we truly appreciate your cooperation! ❄️💙

A male subject was arrested for outstanding warrants during a traffic stop.
A dog was found and later returned to his owner.

Alarm from a business on Vernaci Drive. Management was contacted.
Dog was located in the 1400 block of East 3rd Street. Doggo was picked up by the owner before we arrived.
Report of C&I driving in the 5000 block of Highway 100.

We again appreciate everyone who has been working through the snow to make it passable for the people that have to travel.
