The Third Street contractor will be milling East Third Street between Jefferson Street and Highway 47 on Thursday, October 3 and Friday October 4 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please note this schedule is weather dependent. Day Shift 10/01/2024 Assisted EMS in Washington Square. Subject was left in care of EMS. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 near W. W. Industrial Drive. Assisted a motorist on Highway 100 at International Avenue. Found property on Norwood Court. Property owner was located and it was returned. Checked on a subject yelling in the 1000 block of East 5th Street. Subject was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested. Subject was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of East 5th Street and Malinda Lane. Subject was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested. Assisted EMS on Heritage Hills Drive. Subject was left in care of EMS. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at South Point Road.

The Parks and Rec team is hard at work pouring concrete for a new pavilion at the Miller Post Nature Reserve. The new pavilion will allow school, scout groups and trail users to get out of the elements while still enjoying the Reserve. Four Rivers students will construct the wood pavilion over the next month or two.
