The Optimist Skate Park is another park that helps you “Fit In”. The recently renovated park includes new features for most levels of skaters to use. The park also includes a basketball court, playground, and pavilion as another option to enjoy some outdoor recreation. These features make Washington Parks and Recreation #WhereYouBelong. #ParksandRecMonth #ParksandRecMonth24

Another way to “Fit In” is by using the Burger Creek Disc Golf Course. This free course is great for any skill level and has a variety of unique hole locations. Disc golf is also a great recreational sport to enjoy with friends and family. This course is just another reason why Washington Parks and Recreation is #WhereYouBelong. #ParksandRecMonth #ParksandRecMonth24

Yard waste, such as grass clippings and leaves, do not belong in a storm drain. Not only do they clog the storm system and cause unnecessary flooding, but organic debris also pollutes our waterways and can cause eutrophication – a reduction in oxygen levels in our rivers and lakes which harms and kills aquatic wildlife. #cleanthedrains #recycleyardwaste #SWPPP #washmo #waterwisewednesday
