Assisted a stranded motorist in the area of Hwy 100 and Pottery Rd.
A motor vehicle crash occurred in the area of Hwy 100 and Huxel Dr.
Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of High St.
A motor vehicle crash occurred in the area of Hwy 47 and Heritage Hills Dr.
A parking complaint was reported in the area of Washington Sq.
A derelict vehicle was reported in the area of Sir Williams Ct.
A parking complaint was reported in the 700 block of Locust St.

Night Shift 01/14/25
A report was taken in the 1100 block of Horn St. for a code violation.
A subject was arrested during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant in the area of Hwy 47 and Blue Jay.

It is not too early to mark the Washington Earth Day Event on your calendar! This year, we are collaborating with Downtown Washington, Inc.'s Sunset on the Riverfront to bring you a double your fun experience. The event will be held on Thursday, April 24, and runs from 5-8 p.m. You will find us at the east side of the Pavilion at the Rennick Riverfront Park.


❗NOTICE❗ Waste Connections was not able to complete their collection route, Tuesday, January 14. The affected streets will be collected tomorrow, Wednesday, January 15.


NOTICE: City Hall, the Recycling & Compost Center, and the City Landfill, and will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Office Closure will NOT affect your regular trash & recycling pickup.


Due to unforeseen mechanical problems, Waste Connections was not able to complete their collection route today, Monday, January 13. The highlighted streets will be collected first thing tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14.

Leaving the scene crash reported on Vernaci Drive. Unknown suspect vehicle.
Subject was stopped in the 2800 block of East 5th Street for a traffic violation. Subject was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested.
Alarm in the 1900 block of East 5th Street. Accidental by employee.

Signal Improvements scheduled for Highway 100 and High Street Intersection on Monday, January 13, 2025, starting at 7 am. Weather dependent.
Please use caution for workers in this area and use alternate routes if possible.

Night Shift Summary 01/11/2025
Report of a vehicle blocking a driveway in the 1100 block of Bieker Road. Vehicle was moved.
Assault reported in Washington Square.
Lost or stolen license plate reported in the 5000 block of Steutermann Road.
Assisted a motorist in the 5000 block of Highway 100.
Assisted EMS in the 200 block of West 3rd Street.
Assisted a motorist on Steutermann road at Highway 47.
Vehicle crash in the 1700 block of East 9th Street. Driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.
Intoxicated subject located on High Street near West 5th Street. Subject was taken into protective custody.
Hazards removed from the roadway in the 900 block of International Avenue.

Night Shift 01/10/2025
Subject came into the Police Department and reported a phishing scam. Subject did not provide any personal information to the scammers.
Subject was contacted on Eckelkamp Court in reference to a check the well-being. Subject was highly intoxicated, and it was found they had an active warrant. Subject was arrested.
Assisted WFD with a fire on Phoenix Center Drive.

Washington Public Library is open today, Friday, January 10.

Structure fire reported in the 200 Block of High Street. Everyone was evacuated and safe.
