A vehicle accident was reported in the area of Highway 47 and Highway 100
A stealing was reported in the 900 block of East 5th Street
A subject was taken into protective custody in the area of Wenona Court
With the possibility of winter weather affecting our area Thursday and the greater chance over the weekend, let's have a little reminder of some good winter driving tips.

There are a couple possibilities for Winter weather during the week. The first one, and this looks right now to be the less serious of the two, is calling for some light snow Thursday afternoon and into Thursday evening.
The second, and more than likely the more serious, is on track for late this weekend - probably Sunday. Confidence is high regarding the possibility of some type of precipitation, but low (right now) regarding just what that will be. It could be snow, or sleet, or freezing rain, or some combination thereof.
It is also predicted to have a period of intense cold starting Friday night with temps dropping into the teens and possibly single digits by Monday night.
This is the time to start preparing for winter weather and bitter cold temperatures. Please follow for more updates as we get closer to the weekend.

Night Shift 12/30/24
Officers responded to the area of Hwy 47 and Norwood for an animal complaint.
A subject was arrested during a traffic stop for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and having a suspended driver license.
A subject in the area of Hwy 100 and Rabbit trail reported that a male subject was threatening a female subject in Sullivan Missouri. Contact was made with Sullivan Police Department to check on the female subject and advise her of the threats.
A suspicious vehicle and persons was reported in the 1400 block of E. 6th St.
A suspicious person was reported in the 800 block of Missouri Ave.
Officers responded to the area of Washington Square and Hwy 47 for an alarm sounding.

Night Shift Summary 12/29/2024
Assisted with getting someone needing medical help to the hospital in the 900 block of East 5th Street.
Animal running at large in the area of Don Avenue. It was determined to be a wild animal.
Homeless activity in the 100 block of West Main Street. Subject was asked to move along.
Checked on an intoxicated subject near the riverfront. Subject had a family member come pick them up.

Peace Disturbance reported on Phoenix Center Drive. Subjects causing the disturbance were separated.
Peace disturbance reported in the 200 block of East 4th Street. Subjects causing the disturbance were told to go inside and leave each other alone.
Domestic assault reported in the 800 block of Roberts Street. Subject was arrested.
Peace disturbance reported in the 200 block of Jefferson Street. Subjects were asked to turn the music down.
Peace disturbance reported in the 700 block of Fulton Street. One of the subjects contacted had outstanding warrants and was arrested.

Peace disturbance reported in Washington Crossing. Two subjects arguing. Both subjects left the area.
Intoxicated subject was reported in the 900 block of East 5th Street. Subject was taken into protective custody.
Peace disturbance in the 600 block of West 5th Street. Subject causing the disturbance left.
Shots fired reported in the 1600 block of East 5th Street. Located all subjects involved. Subject who fired the weapon was arrested.
Peace disturbance reported in the 200 block of West Main Street. Subjects left the area.

A sexual misconduct was reported on Southwinds Circle
A domestic disturbance was reported in the 1100 block of East 8th Street
A vehicle accident was reported on private property in the 1400 block of High Street
A stealing was reported in the 2000 block of Washington Crossing
Property damage reported in the 500 block of East 3rd
Property damage reported in the 200 block of Burnside

Several peace disturbance reports in the 600 block of W. 9th St.
Assisted EMS in the 400 block of W. Front St.
A subject was arrested for Domestic assault in the 400 block of Michelle Dr.
Assisted the fire department in the 100 block of Lake Washington Dr.
A keep the peace was conducted in the 6700 block of Hwy 100.
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thank you to the Four Rivers students and staff for creating this space at the Miller Post Nature Reserve. Now Boy Scouts and other users will be able to get out of the elements while at the Reserve. The materials for the pavilion were donated! Expected completion date(depending on the weather) is mid January.
