Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight and lasting until 6:00AM Wednesday morning. Winter weather arriving in our area overnight and in the morning with the heavy portion of the snow being tomorrow afternoon and lasting till early Wednesday morning. Dangerous cold temperatures in our area with the storm as well as after the snow has passed our area.

Day Shift Summary 02/17/2025
Assisted WFD with a fire on Bradford Court.
Dog was located in the 1500 block of East 5th Street. Dog was brought to the PD where the owner came and picked it up.
Parking violation reported on Locust Street near Maple Valley Court.
Derelict vehicle reported in the 5000 block of Highway 100.
Assisted EMS in the 1600 block of High Street. Subject was left in care of EMS.

Suspicious vehicle at the riverfront.
Vehicle crash report in the 300 Block of Fair Street.
A female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5800 Block of Highway 100.

Assisted another law enforcement agency in the area of Highway 47/Steutermann Road.
Animal complaint in the 1200 Block of Jefferson Street.
Harassment report in the 2000 Block of Washington Crossing.

Day Shift 02/15/25
Officers responded to the 900 block of E. 5th St. for a dog running at large. It was found and returned to it's owner.
Officers assisted EMS in the 1200 block of Caroline Dr.
A property damage report was taken near the mainstage area of the fairgrounds. Someone had driven through the grass.
Officers responded to Valley Trailer Ct. for a report of a peace disturbance.
Someone turned in a license plate to the police department. The license plate was reported as lost or stolen from Pacific.
A harassment was reported in the 1000 block of W. 5th St.
A suspicious person was reported in the 2700 block of Earth Crest Dr.

Assist Street Department with stop signs at Highway 47/Highway 100.
Vehicle crash report in the area of Highway 47/100
Vehicle crash report in the area of Highway 100/ Southpoint Road
A male subject was arrested for Minor in Possession in the 600 Block of W. 9th.
Several business alarm calls.
**REMINDER** If you are a driving a vehicle and you come upon an intersection that the electric signal lights are either on 4 way flashing red or they are not working at all, it isn't a sign to drive however you would like to drive. Intersections at these times should be treated as a 4 way stop intersection.

Minor injury traffic crash involving 3 vehicles on Highway 100 at High Street.
Subjects loitering at a business in the 4000 block of South Point Road. Subjects were asked to move along.
Derelict vehicle reported in the 200 block of West Main Street.
Leaving the scene crash on Highway 100 at Vernaci Drive.

A parking complaint was reported in the 600 block of W. 5th St.
Officers responded to an alarm sounding in the 300 block of E. 8th St.
A suspicious person was reported in the area of 5th St. and Jefferson St.
Homeless activity in the 1000 block of E. 5th St.

Non-injury traffic crash on Highway A at Steutermann Road.
Parking violation on East 5th Street near Westway Drive. Vehicle was moved.
Assisted EMS in the 400 block of Cedar Street. Patient left in care of EMS.
Peace disturbance in the 700 block of Locust Street. Subjects were advised to keep it down.
