Suspicious person acting strangely reported on Vernaci Drive. Subject was contacted and found to be driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. The subject was arrested.
Subject called with questions about purchasing a vehicle.
Subject reported that they lost their phone either on Jefferson Street or on Vernaci Drive. Subject later called back and said they located their phone.
Derelict vehicle reported in the 500 block of Madison Avenue.
Report of a child locked in a vehicle in the 900 block of West 14th Street. Vehicle was opened and the child was fine.
Report of a purse that was stolen in Washington Crossing.

A property damage was reported in the 400 block of Hill St.
A subject reported a civil issue in the 1000 block of Don Ave.

Day Shift Summary. Date: 10-21-2025
Checked on some subjects in the area of Schnucks, they were fine.
Traffic crash in the area of 14th and Stafford.
Found dog in the area of MacArthur and returned it to owner.
Traffic crash Steutermann and Hwy 47.
Male subject arrested for driving while revoked.
Arrests do not imply guilt.

Night Shift Summary. 10/20/25
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 600 block of W. 7th St.
A subject was arrested in the area of E. 14th St. and Marbach Dr. during a verbal domestic investigation. The subject was arrested for outstanding warrants.
A check the well being was conducted in the 400 block of E. 14th St.
Officers responded to the 800 block of Washington Corners for an alarm sounding.
A misc. juvenile report was taken in the 300 block of Williams St.
A subject was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. This occurred in the 3400 block of Maplecrest.
A peace disturbance was reported in the area of 9th and Klingsick.
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Mike Alan Dr. to assist EMS.
All subjects arrested are innocent until proven guilty.

Traffic crash on A Roy drive.
A report of a person looking in cars was reported on A Roy drive. Contact was made with subject, no concerns.
A stealing was reported in the area of A Roy drive.
Property damage in the 200 block of Main Street.
Traffic crash in the area of Highway 100 and Pottery Road.

A female was arrested on fugitive warrants in the area of E. 5th St. and Henry St.
An assault was reported in the 600 block of W. 5th St.
A male was taken into protective custody in the 600 block of W. 5th St.

Hazards were reported in the area of Westlink Dr.
A verbal domestic was reported in the 5000 block of Dawson Dr.
A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Fair St.
A male was arrested at WPD on fugitive warrants.

Hazards removed from the roadway in the 700 block of Jefferson Street.
Homeless subject was contacted in the 1000 block of East 8th Street and asked to move along.
Minor injury crash between a vehicle and a bicycle on Bieker Road at Lexington Lane.
Animal running at large reported in the 500 block of West 2nd Street.

Missing persons report in the area of Locust Street. Subject was located and all is well.
Assisted WAAD in the area of Fremont Street.

Students at the Washington Middle School (WMS) are partnering with Loving Hearts and the Washington Police Department to collect non-perishable canned food items for those in need. WMS students can bring canned goods to their homeroom for collection and the homeroom with the most items will win a free pizza party!
If you’d like to donate but don’t have a student at WMS, please take items directly to Loving Hearts, 1902 West Main St., Washington, MO. 🚫In order to maintain the safety and security of the school campus, please do not drop off items at WMS unless you have a student enrolled there.🚫
