Day Shift Summary 01/26/2025
Assisted a motorist on Highway 100 at A. Roy Drive.
Officers located the suspect from a report yesterday that someone had used their lost debit card.  Suspect admitted to finding the card and using it at several different locations.  Subject was arrested.
Reports of subjects on the ice at Lion's Lake.  Subjects were told to stay off the ice.
Checked on a subject on Valley Trailer Court who could not be reached by a family member.  Subject was contacted and was fine.
Assisted WFD with an alarm in the 400 block of Grand Avenue.  Accidental alarm.

Day Shift Summary 01/25/2025
Subject reported his debit card was lost in the area of Washington Square.
Homeless subject was contacted sleeping in the area of Heritage Hills.  Subject was extremely rude and was trespassed from the area at the request of the property owner.
Non-injury private property crash reported in the area of Phoenix Center Drive.
A report of two subjects fighting in the roadway on Ashton Hills Court.  It was determined that one of the subjects struck the other.  Subject was arrested.

Parking violation in the 400 Block of E. 5th.
Suspicious person in the 600 Block of W. 3rd.  
Day Shift 01/23/25
Officer conducted a follow up in regards to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Hwy 47 and Hwy 100.
Officers handled a parking complaint in the 100 block of Elm St.
Officer handled a parking complaint in the 600 block of W. 5th St.
Officers handled a parking complaint in the 700 block of W. 8th St.
Officers responded to the area of Hwy 100 and Bluff road for a motorist assist.
Officers responded to the area of 14th St. and Hwy 47 for a report of a subject needing psychiatric assistance.  The subject was taken to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
 
A stealing was reported in the 800 block of Washington Corners.
Officers responded to the area of 8th and Jefferson for a report of two subjects overdosing in a vehicle.  Officers arrived on scene and made emergency entry into the vehicle. After making contact and refusing medical attention the driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver license and driving while drugged.  
All subjects arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
Day Shift Summary 01/24/2025
Non-injury traffic crash on West 14th Street at High Street.
Checked on a subject in the 800 block of Louis Street.  Subject was fine.
Parking violation in the 1200 block of Caroline Drive.  Vehicle was moved.
Derelict vehicle in the area of East 3rd Street and Boone Street.  Vehicle was tagged.
Assisted WFD with a fire alarm on Rabbit Trail Drive.  Subjects were testing the alarm.
Checked the well being of a subject on Wenona Court.  Subject was contacted and advised to call their doctor who had been trying to reach them.
Due to unforeseen issues, Waste Connections was not able to complete their trash collection route today, Thursday, January 23. The highlighted streets will be collected first thing tomorrow, Friday, January 24.

The first weeks of 2025 have been busy.  In addition to multiple service calls, accidents, snow/ice and a residential structure fire, WFD also assisted with two multi-department incidents that each took over 5 hours: a diesel fuel spill in Labadie, and a large structure fire in Berger.  Thank you to all other local agencies that assisted with these events- we all benefit from our mutual aid partnerships.
