Today in #ParksandRecMonth24 we are highlighting Miller Post Nature Reserve. It is the newest park in our system and has over two miles of trails. Along with that, it is home to a creek, lake, and quarry that has scenic overlooks. It is also the best place to enjoy nature due to all its wildlife and preserved nature. Today for #ParksandRecMonth24 we are looking at Lions Lake. The lake is 11 acres and has 1 mile of trails to enjoy. The fountain in the middle of the lake helps with water aeration and changes colors at night! The lake also has recreational uses allowing people to fish and kayak on it. This park is perfect for a day out to enjoy the natural beauty that it has to offer making it #WhereYouBelong. #ParksandRecMonth

Night Shift Summary 07/21/2024 Parking violation in the 900 block of East 5th Street. Vehicle was moved A vehicle was recognized by an Officer as one that was the suspect vehicle in a prior reported stealing from Lowe's. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Highway 100 and Washington Heights Drive. Both occupants were the suspects in the stealing case and both were also found to have outstanding warrants. They were both arrested. Subjects were called in as suspicious in the area of the riverfront. Reporting party stated it looked like they had guns. They were contacted and did have Orbeez guns. They were advised to go on their way.
