It wouldn't be Missouri if the weather weren't changing by the hour! Due to the forecasted low air and water temperatures, the City has decided not to open the Agnes Nolting Aquatic Complex this Memorial weekend as planned. We will re-evaluate on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Be sure to check back on Tuesday for the latest updates. The splash pad will remain open and FREE to use until the pool opens. Thanks for your understanding! Warmer weather is hopefully coming soon.

Waste Connections NOTICE 3 2025
Memorial Day Weekend Safety Reminder As we honor the brave members of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice, let’s also take steps to keep each other safe this holiday weekend. 🚗 Buckle up – Seat belts save lives. 📵 Put the phone down – Avoid distractions and stay focused. 🍻 Don’t drink and drive – Always choose a sober driver. 🚤 Be safe on the water – Wear a life jacket and never boat under the influence. ⚠️ With an estimated 4% increase in drivers on the road, totaling nearly 40 million motorists, expect heavier traffic and plan accordingly. If plan on spending time on the water, you can also expect an increase in waterway traffic as well. The National Safety Council estimates 443 traffic fatalities nationwide this holiday weekend — let’s do our part to prevent them. ❤️ Keep safety first, act responsibly, and remember the sacrifices of our heroes.

🎓 Washington High School 💙🤍 & St. Francis Borgia High School 💙💛 class of 2025 🎓 Seniors, congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone! As you look ahead, remember the wise words of Dr. Seuss from Oh, the Places You’ll Go!: You’ll carefully consider your options — some paths you’ll choose not to take because you’re smart enough to avoid the wrong streets. And if you don’t find the right path nearby, don’t worry — you’ll head out into the wide open world where new opportunities await. When things start happening (and they will), don’t stress or get stuck — just keep moving forward. Along the way, you’ll meet many different people and face unexpected challenges. So step carefully and thoughtfully, balancing your decisions like a skillful tightrope walker. And don’t mix up your left foot with your right! Success is waiting for you — 98 and ¾ percent guaranteed! As you celebrate, be safe and surround yourself with friends and family who support you. Take a moment to thank those who helped you get here. And remember, mom might not be quite ready to see you spread your wings and fly, so let her take all the pictures of her baby that she wants. Yes, you have to smile in them.... Class of 2025 💙🤍💙💛 — your mountain is waiting. Now go get it! 🎉🎓 #Classof2025 #YouDidIt #GoKnights #GoBlueJays #RememberYourTeachersandSRO's #OhThePlacesYou'llGo
