The first weeks of 2025 have been busy. In addition to multiple service calls, accidents, snow/ice and a residential structure fire, WFD also assisted with two multi-department incidents that each took over 5 hours: a diesel fuel spill in Labadie, and a large structure fire in Berger. Officers responded to Whispering Oaks for a parking violation. A subject was arrested in the 1700 block of E. 5th St. during a traffic stop for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
