WFD trains for many types of emergency scenarios. We have several members that recently completed their rope technician certification, adding to the wealth of knowledge that we have from those with decades of experience in this area. We used those skills today with successful rescues of two individuals that needed help. This is why we train- for your safety and for ours. Thank you to WPD, WAAD and Washington Communications for their assistance with this call. Please use caution around steeply sloped areas and stay far away from the edges of any kind of drop-off. #volunteerfiredepartment #wfd #washmo
