Day Shift Summary 10/05/2024 Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 47 at Highway 100. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at Washington Heights Drive. Assisted a stalled motorist on Rabbit Trail Drive at Highway 100. Violation of a court order reported in the 1300 block of East 5th Street. Subject who violated the order was located and arrested. Dog was running at large in the area of 700 West Main Street. Owner was located. Non-injury traffic crash in the 100 block of West Main Street. Leaving the scene crash reported in the 300 block of West Main Street. Alarm in the 600 block of International Avenue. Accidental.

Day Shift Summary 10/04/2024 A check the wellbeing was conducted in the 1900 block of Mike Alan Drive. A complaint of peace disturbance was handled in the 200 block of High Street. Found property was turned in at the police department. A vehicle crash was handled at High and 14th Street. A complaint of peace disturbance was handled on the riverfront trail.

The Third Street contractor will be performing base repair, paving and sod installation on East Third Street between Jefferson Street and Highway 47 on Monday, October 7 thru Thursday, October 10 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please note this schedule is weather dependent. No parking is allowed on this portion of Third Street during this time frame and flaggers will be on site for detours near Highway 47 during paving operations in that area. Night Shift Summary 10/03/2024 Peace disturbance on Southwinds Circle. Subject causing the disturbance was asked to leave. Subject was contacted in the 900 block of East 5th Street who was known to have warrants. Subject was arrested on the outstanding warrants. Peace disturbance in Washington Crossing. Subject causing the disturbance was asked to leave. Subject was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of East 5th Street and International Avenue. Subject was found to be driving on a suspended driving privilege. Subject was arrested. Assisted EMS with a subject yelling for help in the 200 block of Elm Street. Subject was left in care of EMS.

A subject was issued a citation for driving while suspended. A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of W 7th Street. A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Elm Street.

Checked on a subject yelling in the 1000 block of East 5th Street. Subject was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested. Subject was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of East 5th Street and Malinda Lane. Subject was found to have outstanding warrants and was arrested. Assisted EMS on Heritage Hills Drive. Subject was left in care of EMS. Non-injury traffic crash on Highway 100 at South Point Road.

The Parks and Rec team is hard at work pouring concrete for a new pavilion at the Miller Post Nature Reserve. The new pavilion will allow school, scout groups and trail users to get out of the elements while still enjoying the Reserve. Four Rivers students will construct the wood pavilion over the next month or two.
